Prepare ingredients. Cut 4 pieces of tofu into 2 parts each. Cut 400 grams Tempeh into pieces. Soak all in marinade (1/4 liter of water + 1 tablespoon garlic powder + 1 teaspoon ginger powder + 1 tablespoon coriander seed powder + 1 teaspoon cumin seed powder + 1⁄2 - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder + 2 teaspoon salt).
Cut off both ends of 400-500 grams of yardlong beans then cut them into lengths of 3-5 cm.
Bring 1-2 liter water in a pot to a boil.
Put the beans into the boiling water.
Cook for 2-3 minuten.
Remove from the boiling water and drain.
Put 400-500 grams of canned unripe jackfruit into the boiling water.
Cook for 2-3 minuten.
Remove from the boiling water and drain.
Put coconut flesh of 1-2 young coconut into a food processor.
Chop up the flesh.
Remove desiccated coconut from processor and put aside.
Put chunks of 1 red onion into the food processor.
Add 4 garlic cloves.
Add chili peppers (at will).
Add chunks of 2 cm ginger.
Remove the woody outer layer of 2 lemon grasses ...
... and cut the soft and moist inner section into pieces.
Put also the lemon grass pieces into the food processor.
Add 4 kaffir lime leaves.
Add 8 grams of shrimp paste.
Add 30-40 grams of palm sugar.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
Grind the spice mix finely.
Transfer the spice mixture to a bowl.
Add the desiccated coconut.
Mix in until combined.
Prepare a bamboo steamer ...
... and a banana leaf on it.
Place the spice mixture on banana leaf.
Close well.
Once the water in the steamer is boiled, put the bamboo steamer into the pot ...
... and steam the spice mixture for 5 minutes using high heat.
Put the cooked unripe jackfruit into a food processor.
Grind it coarsely.

Transfer to a bowl ...
... and put aside.
After 5 minutes ...
... remove the bamboo steamer from the pot ...
... and take out the steamed spice.
Add part of the steamed spice to the shredded jackfruit.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
Mix in. This will become "urap nangka muda" (urap young jackfruit).
Add the rest of the steamed spice mixture to the beans.
Add 1/2-1 teaspoon of salt and mix in. This will become "urap kacang panjang" (urap yardlong bean).
Put aside.
Put 400 grams of rice into a cooking pot.
Add enough water to cover the top of the rice by 1 centimeter.
Bring to a boil.
Turn the heat down to as low as possible.
Put a lid on the pot. Cook for 10 mins and do not take the lid off.
Heat enough cooking oil in a wok (for deep-frying).
Take out tofu and tempeh pieces from marinade, drain and put them into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown.
Then remove them from the oil.
To serve, use a plate or piece of banana leaf. And on it: rice ...

Nasi megono or nasi bogana is an Indonesian style rice dish, originally from Tegal, Central Java, Indonesia. It is usually wrapped in banana leaves and served with a variety of side dishes.
