Beef jerky
Prepare ingredients.
Cut 800-1000 grams of beef sirloin into thin slices.
And put aside.
Put chunks of 1 onion to a food processor.
Add 4 garlic cloves.
Add 1/2 tablespoon of peppercorn.
Grind the spice mix finely and transfer to a bowl.
Add 6 tablespoons of soy sauce.
Add 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce.
Add 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey.
Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
Stir until everything is mixed well.
Put the meat to the marinade.
Rub spices evenly over all sides of meat pieces.
Close the bowl well.
Let the meat rest overnight in the refrigerator.
Take the meat out of the fridge.
Take a baking tray and cover with aliminum foil.
Place the meat on the rack of the oven, one next to the other (see picture).
Underneath is the baking tray.
Crack open the oven door by sticking a wooden or plastic serving spoon in the top of the door.
Set the oven temperature to 50°C.
Let the meat dry for 3 hours.
Then turn over the jerky.
After another 3 hours, it should be done.
The jerky is done when it’s dry enough. Leave meat out in the air to cool.


Beef Jerky is lean beef that has been trimmed of fat, cut into very thin strips/slices and then dried to prevent spoilage.


800 grams beef sirloin or tenderloin (800-1000 grams)
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
1⁄2 teaspoon peppercorns
6 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon baking soda
