Deep fried food is a common street snack in Indonesia. Numerous glassed booths line the roadsides with signs reading gorengan (fried food or fritter). Not so healthy, but delicious. One of the most popular is tahu isi (or fried stuffed tofu).

The local will eat these stuffed tofu by taking one bite of tofu and one bite of the hot chili alternately. I like it with some Indonesian peanut sauce.
