Fried Wonton
Prepare ingredients.
Cut 1 chicken breast into pieces.
Chop 2 scallions finely.
Put the chicken meat to a food processor.
Add pieces of the scallion.
Grind it finely. Transfer to a bowl.
Cut 100-150 grams of prawn into pieces.
Add the prawn to the bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Mix in gently.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of tapioca flour.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
Knead with hands until everything is mixed well.
Prepare 1 wonton sheet. Pile 1 teaspoon of stuffing into the middle on the pastry.
Fold the wonton sheet in triangular shape.

Repeat steps 15-17 until the stuffing is left.
Heat cooking oil for deep-frying.
Put stuffed wonton pastry into the hot oil.
Fry wonton until starting to brown.
Remove fried wonton from the oil.
Drain fried wonton on clean kitchen paper towels.

Description

A wonton is a type of dumpling commonly found in a number of Chinese cuisines. Wontons are made by spreading a square wrapper (a dough skin made of flour, egg, water, and salt). Wontons are commonly boiled and served in soup or sometimes deep-fried.

In Indonesian Chinese cuisine, they are called Pangsit. Served fried or in soup, usually with Chinese noodles.

200 grams wonton pastry

1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons tapioca flour (2-3 tablespoons)
1⁄2 teaspoon salt

  cooking oil (for deep-frying)
