California roll
Prepare ingredients.
Put 1 tablespoon of white sesame seeds in a pan.
Add 1 teaspoon of black sesame seeds.
Roast sesame seeds without using additional oil.
Wash 350-500 grams of sushi rice.
Transfer to a cooking pot.
Add 750 milliliters of water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a lowest level.
Cover the cooking pot and simmer for 15 minutes.
Turn off the heat, cover the cooking pot with a clean towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
Transfer to a bowl.
Put 2 tablespoons of mirin into a small bowl.
Add 3-5 tablespoons of rice vinegar.
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
Dissolve sugar and salt.
Pour the liquid over the cooked rice.
Mix in gently.
Cut 1 cucumber into strips.
Cut 1 ripe avocado in half.
Remove the outer skin of avocado.
Cut the ripe avocado into wedges.
Cut 150-200 grams of crab stick into strips.
Drizzle lime juice over avocado pieces.
Put 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise onto a plate.
Add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce.
Mix in.
Grab a sushi mat and place it on a flat surface. Top with plastic wrap.
Cut a sheet of nori in half and place one on the sushi mat.
Using your hands dipped in water (to avoid sticking), pat a very thin layer of rice all over the nori, making sure it’s not too thick or your roll will be all rice and no filling.
Fold the sushi mat to turn it.
Nori is the top layer now.
Coat the surface of the nori with mayonnaise.
Then, arrange surimi stripes, ...

... cucumber stripes in a line.
Start to roll the nori and rice over with your fingers.
And once the stuffing are covered, roll over the plastic wrap and mat, using it to mold and compress the roll.
Slice with a sharp knife.
Roll the sushi into toasted sesame seeds.
Serve immediately with pickled ginger, soy sauce and wasabi.
